This photography piece was for a course project at Winona State University. In this project, students were required to create two photos that use aperture to depict a message. I ultimately decided to use the focal point of a phone screen with a long and presumably negative text emotionally affecting the subject in the background. With having the subject appear more clear in the second photo in an image with lower aperture and higher depth-of-field, the viewer can see what the photo's message is.
